Donny Ray Johnson

Donny Ray Johnson, age 55, went to be with our Lord and Savior at the end of his suffering on April 7, 2022 in the presence of his family. 

Donny was born in Lake City, FL, on April 27, 1966 to Maurice Johnson and Carolyn Laramore Foran. Donny spent most of his adult years working with large equipment and moving homes for Johnson Mobile Home Service. He was a man of men and a dedicated father. His years on earth were spent providing for and teaching his son, Johnny, the ways of the outdoors and the importance of morality. Donny was a best friend to his only son and the light of his mother, Carolyn’s, life. He will be missed by many but has left behind a legacy of a lifetime. 

He was preceded in death by his father and left behind his loving mother, Carolyn Foran; his son, Johnny Ray Johnson; and fiancé, Katherine Shirah.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, April 11, 2022 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Reverend Gino Mayo officiating. Interment will follow in Weeks Chapel Church Cemetery in Kinston, AL, with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
