Donald Melvin Morgan

Donald Melvin Morgan, age 70, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on November 20th, 2023. 

On any given sunny day unless the dawgs were playing you could find him on lake Seminole fishing. He loved watching his dawgs, westerns, and specifically mountain men with his grands. He was a family man making sure to be present at as many of his grandchildren’s school events as possible. He will be greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father Nadine and Glenn Poe and his wife of 34 years, Sharon Morgan.

He was a beloved brother, husband, father, and papa. He is survived by his daughter, Lindsey Jarrett (Michael); siblings, Larry (Nancy) Morgan, Lamar (Kathy) Morgan, Ronnie (Lisa) Morgan, Denise Wilhoit, Doreen (David) Bean, and Arleen (Bruce) Hill; grandchildren, Michaela, Connor, Noah, Harley, Emelia, and Emanuel Jarrett; great grandchildren, Kaylani Bryant and several nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service will be from 12 P.M. to 2 P.M. EST Saturday, December 2, 2023 at “The Venue” in Bainbridge, GA. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
