Diane Carter, 74 of Greenwood, Fl, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at her home.

Diane was born on February 7, 1947 to the late George Forrest and Dorothy Mae Thomson in Washington DC. She and her husband moved to Jackson County in 2011 from Virginia, where she worked in the banking business for 30 years. Diane had an eye for art and was very creative. She enjoyed long walks with her husband, and was a wonderful mother to her son. Diane was a humble lady who loved the Lord, and was a giving person who loved everyone. She radiated beauty wherever she went and had a beautiful soul.

Diane is survived by her best friend and husband of 31 years Vinson Carter, and her son.

No services are planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
