Dennis was an extremely interesting, knowledgeable,  well-read man.  He was a master of many trades and a superb educator.  He helped my family and friends in many household projects of all kinds: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and cement work.  Most of the time he wouldn't charge anything for his services.  Dennis was what you would call "driven."  He was always trying to find a better way of doing things and would gladly pass this info onto others.  He had a great sense of humor and loved to tease his students about various things.  This world is a better place because of Dennis, his wife Carol, and Jim Abbas.
