Denise Lynne Raits

Denise Lynne Raits, age 77, of Marianna, FL, lost her battle with cancer on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at her residence. 

​Denise was born in Inglewood, CA on October 3, 1945 to her parents, Stephen Michael Lucas and Mamie Stawffer. She worked in the Jackson County School District as an Elementary school teacher and was a member of the Pilot Club in Marianna.

 She is survived by her two sons, David and Dan; her daughter-in-law, Lori; her granddaughter, Valerie; and her sister, Donna.

Denise was a very special person and her loss will be felt by many whose lives she touched. Her time here has ended; may she sleep peacefully with the angels. 

No services are planned at this time. Memorialization will be my cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
