Denise Mayes Obituary

Denise Dongvillo Mayes, age 75, of Marianna, Florida passed away on Friday, November 10, 2023 with her loving husband, James by her side.

Denise was born on February 28, 1948 to the late Constance and Roger Reynolds. She was a nurse at the Ludington Care Center in Ludington, Michigan. On September 19, 2021, Denise married James in Scottsville, Michigan and soon after moved to Jackson County. Denise enjoyed traveling, camping and spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son and her brother.

Denise is survived by her husband, James Mayes of Marianna, Florida; as well as two sisters, Tina and Renita.

A memorial service will be 2 P.M. Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Lighthouse Community Church with Pastor Charlie Fowler officiating. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
