Charlie Arthur Neel, Sr.

Charlie Arthur Neel, Sr. was born on May 23, 1950, in Chattahoochee, Florida, and passed away on October 22, 2023 in Marianna, Florida. The son of the late, MC and Lucy Neel. 

A graduate from Sneads High School and a retired Correctional Officer from the State of Florida. He enjoyed traveling, especially to Biloxi, Mississippi.

Charlie is survived by his son, Chuck Neel and wife, Tess; two daughters, Crystal Cloud and husband, Nick, and Carrie Poole and husband, Jerry; as well as nine grandchildren, Anna Kaye McAdam, Joshua Neel, Joseph Neel, Elisabeth Neel, Samuel Neel, Kaitlan Cloud, Ryan Cloud, Ava Cloud and Gracie Poole.

A graveside service will be 2 P.M., Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Cow Pen Pond Cemetery with Pastor Gary Gable officiating. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home will be directing. 

The family would like to express their gratitude to the caring and compassionate Physicians who provided excellent care for many years, the staff of Marianna Health and Rehab Center and Jackson Hospital.
