Carrie Ai Kiddy

Carrie Ai Kiddy, age 59, of Marianna, FL, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 11, 2022.

Carrie was born April 9, 1963 in Misawa, Japan at the Misawa Air Force Base where her father was stationed. Her father later retired from the Air Force, settling the family in central Florida, where she graduated from Robinson High School in Tampa.  Carrie loved bringing her family together with homecooked meals, and enjoyed playing games with her family and friends. She liked fishing, traveling, and was always up for a new adventure.  She was also a talented seamstress that could fix just about anything.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Wayne Barber and Taiko Mayama Barber; as well as her sister, DeeDee Prichard.

Carrie is survived by her husband, Lester Kiddy of Marianna, FL; siblings, Wayne Barber and wife, Dedde of Seattle, WA, Earl Barber and wife, Jaree of Essex, VT, Cricket Moore and husband, Steve of Marianna, and Donnie “Cory” Barber and wife, Stacia of Marianna; and a host of nieces, nephews and many family members in Japan. 

The family has requested a private service. Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
