Carolyn Marie Mayo

Carolyn Marie Mayo, age 77, of Marianna, FL passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Marianna Health and Rehabilitation Center in Marianna, FL.

Carolyn was born on April 13, 1948 in Pearlington, MS to the late Bonnie Jean and Dave Davis, Jr. Carolyn lived out her passion and was employed all of her life with Malloy's Gladiola Farm. In her free time, Carolyn enjoyed gardening, growing peppers and was also a dedicated member at the Marvin Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bonnie Jean Mitchell Davis and Dave David Davis, Jr.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Wallace Quinton Mayo; children, Anthony “Tony” Wallace Mayo and wife, Reyna, Roxie Marie Anderson and husband, Jeff, Brandy High and husband, Johnny as well as Damon Mayo; sisters, Patricia Frierson and husband, Mike of Mississippi, Brenda Aaron of Marianna, FL, Linda Crowe and husband, Russell of Mississippi; grandchildren, Justin, Brittany, Lincoln, Isaac, Cody, Nick, Dylon, Mikayla, Logan, Kyler and Charlie as well as eight great grandchildren.

No services are planned at this time. Memorialization will be by cremation with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing. 

Services are entrusted to the Lambe family at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
