Burmon Lee Hussey

Burmon Lee Hussey age 84 of Marianna passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. He was a native of Jackson County, born on October 28, 1935 to the late Lewis Hussey and Mary Estelle Fowler Hussey. Burmon was a farmer most of his life and loved being on his tractor. He also enjoyed deer hunting and he was of the Assembly of God Faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Mary Lou Hussey; one sister, Nellar Tyus and one brother, Iven Hussey.

Burmon is survived by his children, Pat Barnes (Dixon), Rose Merritt (Mickey), and Andy Chambliss (Debbie); brothers, Raymond Hussey, Earl Hussey, and Millard Hussey; sisters, Mozell Hill and Lorice Powell; six grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2020 with Reverend Ellis Vickery and Reverend Charles Jackson. Burial will follow in the Welcome Church Cemetery in Dellwood.
