Billy Baxter Obituary

Billy W. Baxter, age 70, of Sneads, FL, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 at his residence.

Billy was born in Donalsonville, Georgia on September 17, 1950 to the late Chester and Ruby Baxter. Billy enjoyed gardening, traveling, and a good political argument.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Brenda McDowell; and brother, Jimmy Baxter.

Billy is survived by Robert Maldon, a friend and brother of 30 years and his devoted caretaker during his recent illness; sisters, Louise Foran, JoAnn Thompson, and Debbie Paramore. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

A private family memorial service will be in New Salem Baptist Church with Robert Maldon officiating, Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
