Beverly Lynn (Floyd) Brown

Beverly Lynn Brown, age 50, of Marianna, FL, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, FL.

Beverly was a lifelong resident of Jackson County, FL and was the daughter to Jimmie Jeffie Floyd and Mary Jean Floyd. She was born on September 28, 1970 and was a bank teller at Region’s Bank for many years. Beverly was a member of New Hope Baptist Church and enjoyed playing crossword puzzles, her piano, spending time on her computer, and being with her family.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Bobbie Jean Harden; grandparents, Pauline and Ralph Cobb and Jeffie and Maybell Floyd; great grandmother, Tressie Medlcok; uncles, Billy Ray and James Earl Cobb; and special in-laws, Lonia Lashley and W.M. Lashley.

Beverly is survived by her son, Chris Brown and wife, Kimberly of Chipley; parents, Jimmie Jeffie Floyd and Mary Jean Floyd; sister, Robbie Finch and husband, Mark of Greenhead, FL; father-in-law Eddie "Bud" Brown, mother-in-law Charlotte Brown; ex-husband of 27 years and father of her children, Greg Brown; along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Compass Lake Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
