Barry Rager Obituary

Barry Lee Rager, age 75, passed away peacefully at home on April 3, 2022, with his son faithfully by his side.

Barry’s hometown was Johnstown, PA, where he attended Johnstown Highschool. Barry was a veteran serving in the Navy for four years and then worked as a lineman. He loved hunting, fishing, swimming and being outdoors.

Barry was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Deborah Masi Rager; his father, Arthur T. Rager; sister, Diana Rager; and his brothers, Daniel Rager and Dennis Rager.

He will be greatly missed by his mother, Dorthy A. Rager; son, Ryan Rager; daughter, Bronwyn Cronin; grandchildren, Aria Cronin and Ezra Cronin; and son-in-law, Derek Cronin.

A private service will be scheduled at a later date. A meditative memorial garden will be planted in Barry’s honor. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
