Obituary
Barbara Jean Stone, age 77, of Alford, Florida passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at her residence.
She was an active member of Alford Baptist Church. Barbara enjoyed spending time with her church family and friends. She was the daughter of the late David Alexander Godwin and Ruthie Marie Revells Godwin.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Silas “Stoney” Rudolph Stone and her siblings, Hazel Harris, Charles Godwin and Gladys Vandiver.
Barbara is survived by her son, Rudy Stone and wife, Karla Stone; sister in law, Annette White; grandchildren, Addison Stone, Tanner and wife, Morgan Stone and Gracie Stone. She was blessed with one great grandchild, Carson Grace Stone; niece, Lacey White; and nephew, Frank Stone as well as many other nephews and nieces.
A celebration of life service will be held at Alford Baptist Church on Friday, May 26, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Bob Johnson officiating. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Deacon’s Benevolence Fund at Alford Baptist Church.
