Barbara Harris

Barbara Jo Harris age 59 of Alford passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at her home. She was a native of Panama City born on November 28, 1960 to Joe H. Harris and Thelma Lois Gay Harris. Barbara moved to Jackson County in 1973 where she worked as a registered nurse for Hospice and was a member of Pilgrims Rest Assembly of God Church. She loved shopping on QVC and all genres of music. Barbara also enjoyed painting and reading books.

She was preceded in death by her father Joe Henry Harris, and her daughter Jennifer Suzanne Wilkinson.

Barbara is survived by her mother Thelma Lois Harris of Alford, two sons Joseph Donald Wilkinson and wife Stephanie of Grand Ridge, FL, Kyle Lee Wilkinson and wife Amber of Chipley, FL, daughter Jessica Lois Wilkinson and husband Shawn Stumpff of Tallahassee, three brothers Thomas Edward Harris and wife Irene of Vernon, FL, Johnny Henry Harris and wife Christal of Altha, FL, Bryan Keith Harris of Alford, FL, four sisters Thelma Ruth Harris of Southport, FL, Sandra Dianne Spiva of Panama City, FL, Margaret Helen Mayo and husband Coyle of Alford, FL, Delois “Dee” Harris of Alford, FL, and seven grandchildren.

Services for Barbara will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, September 21, 2020 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Ellis Vickery officiating. Burial will follow in Vickery Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of service.
