Alma Skipper

Alma Skipper, age 88, of Sneads, FL, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at Signature Healthcare at the Courtyard.

Alma was born on June 15, 1935 to the late Dola and Clifford Phillips. She retired from Florida State Hospital with 28 years of service as a Nursing Aid. In her free time, Alma enjoyed fishing. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Norris Skipper; her daughter, Carol Elaine Stewart; as well as her brother, Louis Phillips.

Alma is survived by her daughter, Vickey Tyus and husband, Don of Sneads, FL; sisters, Mary Shepard and husband, David of Marianna, FL, Lucille Culver of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Danielle Avery, Rodney Ellis, Glen Whiddon III as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside funeral services will be 10 A.M., Monday, July 10, 2023 at Circle Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor David Sizemore officiating. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
