Zadie M. (Brannon) Evans

 Ms. Zadie M. Evans age 87 of Greenwood passed away on Monday, October 14, 2019 at Jackson Hospital. She was born in Cottondale on August 27, 1932 and spent most of her life in Greenwood. Ms. Zadie, loved her cats, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Josh Brannon and Beulah Mashburn Brannon; children, Danny Evans and Debra Evans.

Ms. Zadie is survived by her granddaughter, Kristin Monday (Brad); great grandchildren, Evan Matthews (Azaja), Chase Matthews (Charity), Tristin Monday, Hunter Monday, Bradley Monday, and Brayden Monday; one brother, Franklin Brannon (Dora); sisters, Clara Parrish and Grace Braxton; daughter n law, Brenda O’Steen. She is also survived by special grandchildren and great grandchildren, Angela Taylor, William Matthews, Darin O’Bryan (Charla), Danielle White (Josh), Mandy and Jackeb Johnson, and Kennedy Belford.

A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2019 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
