Wilmer Powell

Wilmer Powell age 82 of Alford passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2019 at his home.

Wilmer was born in Panama City on October 5, 1936 to the Late Willie McCoy and Dannie Lee Powell. He has been a resident of Alford since 1999 coming from Bay County. Wilmer was a member of Pilgrim Rest Assembly of God Church. He loved to fish, mechanic on vehicles and spending time with family, friends, and neighbors.

Wilmer is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Geraldine Powell, children Fay Blair of Fountain, Fl, Mark Powell of Robertsdale,Al, Gerald Powell (Bobbie) of Panama City, FL, Secora Broxton (Jerry) of Panama City, Matthew Powell (Melanie) of Mississippi,  one brother Donnell Powell (Linda) of Panama City, sisters Lillian Hutto of Blountstown, Wanell Crawford of Pensacola,  Charlene McAuthor (Joe) of Pensacola, Shirley Scott of Panama City, and Liz Solsemscom(John) of California. Wilmer is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren,

The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
