William White Obituary

William Arthur White age 83 of Cottondale, passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018. He graduated from Cottondale High School and served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years. Mr. White started a second career with the Florida Department of Corrections after his Air Force retirement. He enjoyed fishing and tinkering in his workshop.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Viney J. White of Cottondale; daughters, Wanda Horton of Hammond, LA and Terry Henderson and husband B.J. of Jackson Gap, AL; sister Dorothy Jackson and husband, Kenneth of Cottondale; seven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 22, 2018 at 2 P.M. at the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Harrison officiating. Interment to follow in the Lovewood Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.

The family request that donations be made to Wounded Warriors in memory of Mr. White.
