Tamsy F. (Fain) Armstrong

Tamsy F. Armstrong age 80 of Marianna passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Marianna Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on January 13, 1938 in Quincy, Fl to the late Norman Francis Fain Sr. and Martha Virginia Thomas Fain. Tamsy had been a resident of Marianna since 2014 an was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church. She graduated FSU in 1960 with a Bachelors degree. Tamsy was a talented seamstress, accomplished pianist, and loved to sing in the church choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Martha Virginia Stromberg, and sister, Virginia Hartje. Tamsy is survived by her son, Richard Armstrong and wife Valerie of Sharpsburg, Georgia; daughter, Tamsy Caroline Ramsey and husband Steve of Lake Charles, Louisiana; brother, Dr. Norman Francis Fain Jr. and wife Jo Ann of Melbourne, Florida; sister, Mary Jo Allman and husband Robert of Roswell, Georgia; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with Father David Green officiating. A reception will be held in the parish hall following the service.
