Ruby (Cox) Anderson

Ruby Anderson, 88, of Marianna, FL passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at her home. She was born in Bascom, FL to Charles and Ola Cox. She was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and a member of Caverns Road Church of Christ. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed fishing and working in her flower garden.

Ruby is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, George M. Anderson (2002), her son G. Robert Anderson (1996), and her parents.

Survivors include her daughters Patricia Hall and husband Donnie of Marianna, Carol Stearn and husband Dub of Ft. Walton Beach; daughter in law Kathy Rehberg and brother in law Willard Anderson of Lynn Haven, ; brothers Alfred Cox and wife Sharon , sister-in-law Pearl Cox all of the Paramore Community. Grandchildren Brandon Anderson, Justin Hall (Karla), Risa Knock (Evan), Kari Oliver (Jonathan), Selena Lafferty (Trevor). Great Grandchildren Nathan Anderson, Maddox Lafferty, Colin Lafferty, Stella Knock, Escher Knock, Wyatt Oliver, William Oliver, and Lillian Rae Oliver.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 2pm at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Dub Stearn officiating, internment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Calhoun County. A time of visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building fund of Caverns Road Church of Christ in memory of Ruby Anderson.
