Pedro Lopez Obituary

Pedro T. Lopez age 35 of Cottondale passed away after a courageous fight with cancer. He was born in Miami, Fl on January 17, 1984 and has been a resident of Cottondale for the past 26 years. Pedro was member of the First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, playing basketball, and watching wrestling on tv. Pedro enjoyed watching Miami Hurricanes, Miami Heat, and the Miami Dolphins. He was a family man and loved spending time with his children.

He was preceded in death by one son, his grandparents, many aunts and uncles.

Pedro is survived by his father Pedro Felipe Lopez (Victoria), mother Maria Gonzalez (Gustavo), his loving wife Marisely Lopez, his children Yesenia Lopez, Pedro Lopez, Jr., and Kristian Lopez, brothers Barbaro Dominguez (Rebecca), Victor Gonzalez, Felix Batista (Hannah) Jamiley Gonzalez, Gustavo Gonzalez, Jr., Sandro Lopez, sister Joann Gonzalez, brother-in-law’s and sister-in-law’s Peter Ruiz (Rachel), Michelle Crose (Dalton), Jennifer Duncan (Caleb), Alain Adan, and Alex Adan,  in-laws Betty and Pete Ruiz. He is also survived by special friends and family Lorenzo Goodwin, Reuban Hill, Maurice Reading, Will Early, Brian Braxton, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life service for Pedro will be held at a later date and will be announced by Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
