Margaret Respondowski Obituary

Margaret B. Respondowski age 84 of Marianna passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019 at her residence after bravely surviving cancer 4 times and fighting Alzheimers for the past 5 years.

She was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on June 5, 1934 to the late James Babis and Mary Panda Babis. Margaret has been a resident of Marianna for twenty plus years and was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, shopping; but her greatest enjoyment came from taking care of her family. Margaret was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband of fifty-eight years, Waldemar Respondowski of Marianna; daughter, Suzanne Schulte (Ron) of Marianna; sister, Mary Klaff of Fairfield, Connecticut; grandchildren, Christopher of Marianna, Amanda of Branson, Missouri, and several great grandchildren.

A mass will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 at St. James Church (2070 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06615). Burial will follow at Sait Michael's Cemetery (2005 Stratford Avenue, CT 06615).

Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
