Lois L. (Schobert) Schairer

Lois L. Schairer age 97 of Marianna passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2019 in the Marianna Health and Rehabilitation Center. Lois was born in Racine, Wisconsin on February 27, 1922. She has lived in Jackson County since 1980 moving here from Holmes County. Lois enjoyed tutoring through AmeriCorps VISTA. She also and enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, and working along side her husband Kenneth on their dairy farm.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Lewis and Lillian M. Schobert, husband Kenneth Schairer, and sister Betty Ross. Lois is survived by her daughters Joan Schairer, and Janet Steadham (Dan), grandchildren Greg Clemmons, Jeff Clemmons, Melissa English (Russell), and Chris Kehoe (Huyen), six great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.

Services for Lois will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 8, 2019 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until time of service.
