To the family of Kathy Rogers McAlpin: I was sadden to hear of the passing of such a sweet and caring person. For most of her life she was like a younger sister to me. It might have been two years since we saw each other, but she would always approach me with the largest smile possible, a big hug, and a kiss on the cheek. I will cherish those memories forever. Family, just remember the wonderful times that you had with Kathy, she may no longer be here, but those memories are for a life time. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to the McAlpin family. The Bible’s hope for the future brings comfort to those who are in mourning. Revelation 21:4 says: “and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away”. God promises that in his righteous new world, no one will ever suffer from pain and death again. Jw.org
