Jewel "Christine" (Walters) Harwell

Jewel “Christine” Harwell age 85 of Round Lake passed away on Monday, December 04, 2017 in Marianna.  Christine was a native of Jackson County born on December 25, 1931 to the late Tom and Lula Hess Walters. She loved fishing, cooking for her family, and was a member of Living Word of Faith Church in Panama City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 46 years Leo Harwell, daughter Glenda Sue Emberton, sister Blanche Barlow, brother  Tommy Walters, and grandson Thomas Ray Commander.

Christine is survived by her daughter Linda Diane Cloud of Kynesville, Florida, son Leo Nixon Harwll, Jr. of Tallahassee, daughter-in-law Michelle Harwell, brother William Walters of Chipley, FL, grandchildren Amanda Hanna, Colby Wilson, Corey Emberton, Lathan Harwell, and Avery Harwell, two great grandchildren Ellyana Hanna, Bryson Hanna, and one on the way Liam Nickolas Harwell.

Services for Christine will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 8, 2017 in the Marainna Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Buddy Smitherman officiating. Intermnet will follow in the Round Lake Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
