James E. Edenfield

James E. Edenfield age 78 of Gaffney, SC passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2019.  James was a native of Florida born on April 24, 1940 to the late Elton and Dora Bell Edenfield. He loved preaching and had served many years as a pastor. James enjoyed fishing, sports, wood working, but most of all he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren who he loved dearly. James truly loved people.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his half brother Michael Edenfield.

James is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Josephine Edenfield, children Don Edenfield of Panama City, FL, Dallas Edenfield (Brandi) of Lake City, Fl, Mikki Bates (Gary) of Michigan, Kelly Elmore (Wayne)of Marianna, step-daughter Marcia Hollingsworth (Regi), South Carolina, step-daughter Rhonda Phillips (Ronny) of South Carolina, sisters JoAnn McCoy of Chattahoochee, FL and Janice Bush of Chipley, 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 4 great - great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life service for James will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 15, 2019 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Fussell officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until time of service.
