Earnest Griffin

Mr.  Earnest Wayne Griffin was born on October 19, 1949 in Wise County, Virginia to the late Henry and Callie Griffin. 

Proceeding him in death are his brothers, Mr. Clarence Griffin, and Ballard Land. 

Mr. Griffin resided at Sunland since October 1986 prior to a short transfer to Tacachale in Gainesville, FL from May 15, 2001 until his return home to Sunland on December 10, 2001.  His last home here was Westside Apartments where the staff loved and cared for him. 

He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted sister & Guardian Advocate, Lena Huggins of Homosasa, FL, two other sisters, Evelyn Zomora and Joanne Shepard both of Homosasa, FL as well as his entire Sunland Family. 

Services or Mr. Griffin will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, May 2, 2019 in the Sunland Chapel with Chaplin Ruthie Moore officiating. A time of remembrance will be held from 9:00 AM until time of service.
