Dr. Margaret Phyllis Lose

Dr. Margaret Phyllis Lose age 93 of Marianna passed away on Monday, September 30, 2019. She was born on November 15, 1925 to the late Lloyd and Margaret Lose. Margaret has been a resident of Marianna for three years, moving here from Lake Henry, Fl where she resided for twenty years. She was an accomplished lady earning a degree in Veterinarian Medicine. Margaret was owner and operator of the largest Equestrian Hospital in the world. She was also author of five books that are still in circulation today. Margaret was very active in the outdoors and enjoyed riding motorcycles and racing snowmobiles. In 1991 she won the biking competition at the Senior Citizens Olympics in Colorado. She was also a member of the St. James Episcopal Church in Exchange, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Margaret is survived by five nieces and nephews, George W. Vennell, Jr. of Lakeland, FL, Margaret A. Vautard of Bensalem, PA, Caroline V. Thompson of Kissimmee, FL, Alvaretta M. Mastrodenico of Lakeland, FL, and John B. Vennell of Marianna, FL.

A memorial service for Margaret will be held at a later date and will be announced by Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
