Christopher Owen Monday

Christopher Owen Monday, 38 of Marianna went home to be with the Lord on February 16, 2018. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his Florida Gators.  He retired from Mercers Paint and Body after many years of service.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Irene Monday, his brother Kenny Monday, paternal grandparents Jack and Claudia Monday and maternal grandparents Owen and Annie Day.

Survivors include his son, Christopher Caleb Monday of Marianna, three daughters Cheyanne Baxter of Marianna, Abbie Melton and Skyler Russo of Blountstown. His fiancé, Alison Melton of Blountstown, brother Brad Monday (Kristin), his birth mother Phyllis Rutherford of Quincy, Florida; sisters, Sharon Dykes (Homer Ellis) of Quincy, Deborah Thomas (Dennis), Teresa Smith (Lynn), Buffy Turner (Mike) and Brandi Clemons all of Marianna, one grandson Kylen Reese of Marianna, special nephew Tristin Monday and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Christopher will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 2 P.M. at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery.

A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
