Carlton “Earl” Mayhall age 81 of Marianna, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Jackson Hospital.

Earl was a native of Marianna born on May 2, 1936 to the late Clyde E. and Cornelia Godfrey Mayhall. Earl received his Bachelor’s Degree in English and Minor in Chemistry from Florida State University. He also received his Masters Degree in Science from Birmingham South University. Earl retired as a teacher from Cottondale High School where he taught 8th grade Science and English. Earl was also a member of the Florida Highway Patrol Auxiliary.

Earl is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Donna Mayhall of Marianna, son Eric Mayhall and wife April of Marianna, grandsons John Daniel Mayhall and wife Brittany of Cowarts, Alabama, Riley Mayhall of Marianna, granddaughter Keira Mayhall of Marianna, and great grandson Carson Lee Mayhall of Cowarts, AL.

Graveside services for Earl will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 17, 2018 in Riverside Cemetery.
