Billy Charles Tate

Billy Tate age 85 of Sneads passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Friday, August 16, 2019 at his residence.  Billy was born in Hartford, AL on November 1, 1933 to the late Shelby and Ola Tate. Billy attended Sneads Assembly of God Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Wynell Tate, his son Norman Schulz.

Billy is survived by his son Dennis Tate and wife Allison, daughter Rebecca Solberg and husband Jim, grandchildren Harrison and Avery Tate, Kristin Solberg, Jeff Solberg, and Stephanie Andrews,

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, 2019 in the Sneads Assembly of God Church with Pastor Juno Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in the Dykes Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
