Barbara Elaine Hatcher

Barbara Elaine Hatcher age 79 of Dellwood, passed away at her home on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. She was born Bogalusa, LA to the late Hayward and Victa Elaine Mizelle Dupont.   Barbara has been a resident of Dellwood for the past 34 years. She was retired from the Florida State Hospital as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and was a member of the Dellwood Baptist Church.

She was preceded by her husband Willard Hatcher, Sr. Barbara is survived by her son Willard Hatcher, Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA, sisters Linda Boothe (Owen) of Baton Rouge, LA, and Magarite Adams (Wade) of Bogalusa, LA, two grandchildren Chad Hatcher of Slidell, LA, and Willard “Trey” Hatcher, of Slidell, LA, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law’s Woody & Linda Hatcher of Marianna, Alvina Basford of Dellwood, and Wilma Black of Marianna. She is also survived by her good friend Karen Neel. Services for Barbara will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 13, 2018 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Gable officiating. Interment will follow in the Cypress Grove Assembly of God Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
