Barbara Jean Fears

Barbara Jean Fears age 75 formerly of Grand Ridge, Florida passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 in Monticello, Florida.  She was a native of Jackson County born on April 7, 1943 to the late Gordon B. and Pauline Elizabeth Rogers Fears.  Barbara was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in the yard, baking, and bowling.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister Helen McCardle.

She is survived by one son Clay Blackmon of Marianna, two daughters; Lisa Higginbotham and husband Larry of Tallahassee, Cindy Blackmon of Marianna. Barbara is also survived by three grandchildren; Caleb Higginbotham, Garrett Higginbotham, and Cody Blackman.

Services for Barbara will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, November 12, 2018 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Roland Rabon officiating. Interment will follow in Collins Chapel Cemetery in Malone, FL. The family will receive friends one prior to the service.
