Ada Mae (Hill) Baggett

Ada Mae Hill Baggett age 78 of Altha passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018. She was a native of Jackson County born on January 1, 1940 to the late Charlie and Floria Lewis Hill.  Ada Mae has lived 50 plus years in Calhoun County. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Billy B. Baggett, siblings Evelyn Baggett, Edna Brock, J.C. “Buck” Hill, and Donald E. Hill.

Ada Mae is survived by her son Michael B. Baggett and wife Robin of Altha, daughter Melanie B. Baggett and fiance John B. Hill of Marianna, brother Carlos L. Hill and wife Gladys of Marianna, grandchildren Hunter B.J.Baggett and wife Rena, special cousin Bruce Hill of Panama City Beach, and “other daughter” Judy Bodiford, as well as other nieces, nephews and friends.

Services for Ada Mae will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 29, 2018 in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Dustin Malphurs and Chaplain Flavious Pittman officiating. Interment will follow at 12:00 PM in Mount Olive Cemetery in Altha. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.

A special thanks to the nurses and staff at Jackson Hospital, Marianna Health & Rehab Center, and Emerald Coast Hospice for their care of our mother during her brief illness.
