Raymond Taylor Powell

Raymond Taylor Powell, age 30, of Alford, FL, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2024. 

Raymond was born on April 23, 1993 in Huntsville, AL and graduated in 2013 from Cottondale High School. After graduating, Raymond went to work at Anderson Columbia as a tradesman. Raymond enjoyed fishing, movies, and spending time with his family and children whom he loved dearly. 

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dacota Benefield; uncle, Eric Hill; grandfather, Robert Malone and great grandfather, William Weston. 

Raymond is survived by his loving wife of eight years, Deborah Powell of Alford, FL; mother, Loralie Benefield; father, James Daryl Benefield both of Alford; son, Clayton Powell; daughters, Chloe Powell and Claire Powell all of Alford, FL; brothers, Jordan Benefield of Georgia, and Michael Benefield of Cottondale; as well as his sisters, Caitlyn Flowers and Raven Benefield both of Alford, FL.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M., Saturday, March 23, 2024 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Chaplain Gino Mayo officiating. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 1 P.M. until the time of service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
